Do you have bad breath?!
 |
Having bad breath can end a relationship before it
can get started. Friends and maybe even family may not
tell you about it in fear of hurting your feelings. To check
your breath, rub your
tongue on a napkin. Smell it...if there is a
smell of any kind, you should start TODAY to change how
and when you brush & floss. Even if you don't have
bad breath, the following method is how you should brush to avoid mouth
diseases and possibly even cancer. If you are a smoker
you MUST follow this regiment to avoid bad breath & more
importantly cancer! Yellow or grayish teeth are not
appealing in the least which often is caused by smoking,
chewing, dipping and/or not brushing often enough.
Here are my Dentist's tips:
- Use an electric brush if possible. They range
from $5 to $90 and many are run by batteries.
- Brush top & bottom of teeth, front and back, with electric
brush, 30 seconds each, regular brush 2 minutes top,
2 minutes, bottom. Ask your dentist which type
bristle, soft, med. or hard you should use.
- Brush your Tongue and Gums!! Reach all the way
to the back of your
tongue which holds germs & odors!
Brushing your gums can prevent gum disease &
also help
eliminate odor.
- Floss after eating meals & snacks & after
brushing at night.
- Brush at least twice per day!
- Ask your Dr. about your tonsils. Bad tonsils are
many times the cause of bad breath.

How about your overall appearance?
 |
Your appearance means a lot, like 100% of what kind
of impression you make visually! You don't get a 2nd
chance to make a 1st impression. You may not
look picture perfect in every day work life or hanging
out at home, most of us regular folk don't. We all need
to take the time to fuss
with our hair, shave and dress nicely for a job
interview, right? (women would most likely wear some
make-up). Take that extra time to look at least that
nice for a first meeting with a potential love interest
and for a photo you post online. The one person for you
in this world you want to impress is your potential soul
mate...so don't get stuck on stupid & look like you just
rolled out your sleeper at 6 am! Not caring about
your appearance projects you are lazy and that you
probably don't care about the things you should. |

Are you a 10?
 |
Most of us are not a 10. And that's no problem
unless we dress to accent our less than 10 ranking. Wear
comfortable clothes, sized right for your size.
And women who accent their cleavage to take eyes away from
their overweight problem come across as desperate to
draw attention to her sexiness is forgetting that the
right top or dress that accents her stylish smarts is
much more appealing.
85%
of US citizens are overweight and some,
morbidly overweight. There are normal weight men who like big
beautiful women and visa versa, but if that man or
woman doesn't dress to accent their best attributes,
their mind, heart and sense of style, they might not
ever show the world and that special someone, their true
beauty at first glance which won't get them a 2nd look.
It's amazing how some people think pouring their
slightly less than perfect 10 body into a size, or 2,
too small, helps 'hold their love handles in'. Instead
the opposite effect is achieved. |

Men, are you chivalrous?
 |
Even modern, liberated women, are impressed
when a guy opens their door, pulls out the chair to seat
them, helps with putting on her coat, carries the grocery bags, gives
up his umbrella or gives up his coat if he
thinks
she needs it, to name a few instances where a man can
demonstrate he is chivalrous. It shows respect & a good
upbringing. Many women might not admit it, but all women
are impressed with chivalry! |

|
Do you reach out and touch someone, too
often?
 |
Most people, men & women, love attention, both
public and privately.
However this can go over the limit of what many
people can endure. Ask on your 2nd or 3rd date what she
or he prefers if you are someone who likes to hold
hands, a lot, put your arm around her shoulders, a lot,
kiss and cuddle, a lot, which in some people's opinion,
demonstrates their fondness or deep love and affection.
By asking someone's preference, you will know h/her boundaries and
if she or he
is worth the adjustment, adjust, or move on
to someone who feels as you do about expressing feelings
with touching, a lot. |

How's your hygiene?
 |
The most common comment in our member's profiles for
Turn Offs is bad hygiene. Keeping clean should not be a
problem if you really care about yourself. When not able
to shower, use handy wipes that are the size of wash
cloths. There is no excuse to not stay clean. Our
bodies shed skin cells daily. Those skin cells smell
like dead skin. Unless you want to smell like a decaying
body, you wash your skin daily! |

Are you TOO opinionated?
 |
We all have an opinion about almost everything! That's
good. It shows we keep abreast of world events.
However, some of us voice our opinion so strongly that
we offend others. Respect the other person's opinion as
you hope they respect yours. Listen intently as though
you really care what they think. Don't be an "I know it
all" and close off your mind to someone else's idea.
Stay true to yourself without being a real donkey's butt
about how someone else feels. Win points with your peers
and that special person! |
Do you talk too much &
don't listen enough? |
(A) Some people are naturally shy & don't talk much, the
silent type, (B) others are talk
too much & don't see to listen enough. (C) There are people who can talk AND listen.
If you fit A or B, do your best to become a C. |
